This series of shots is another "spin-off" of my main ongoing project "Suburban Base". The fog is the common trait here, and I decided to gather all these shots in a separate gallery because I believe that the presence of mist gives a very peculiar and specific mood to them - particularly in terms of abstraction, making places and subjects look even more anonymous, unidentified and generic than they are in clear view. Fog helps to push even further the goal of my series "Suburban base", which is to decontextualize places, to the point of reaching a surreal lack of visual certainties. The triumph over urbanism is total here - vague lights, vague references, things disappearing and fixed urban patterns vanishing. Metaphorically, a suspension of rules and standards. In a tribute to situationism and psychogeography, a true invitation to getting lost.
